![[tpr_dio_sigil.jpg|400]] ## Overview --- The Church of Light is a diocese in [[Transelmany]]. Its capital and largest city is Sylens, but it has several other towns in close proximity. Sylens was one of the oldest cities in the [[Old Elmany|Kingdom of Elmany]]. As a port city close to the Styx Delta, it had always been a hub of economic activity and cultural exchange. Post-revolution, all the new government facilities for the Transelman Basilica and the People's Commissariats were built there; but to avoid internal disruption and with the historically uneven development of South Elmany in mind, the city's population was strictly controlled. Today, its primary economic activity is trade from its ports, as well as the administration of the country: the Church of Light is Transelmany's seat of power, and as such it is the most fortified and well-defended diocese.
