![[stone_dio_sigil.jpg|400]] ## Overview --- The Church of Stone is a diocese in [[Transelmany]]. It is the largest diocese in the prairie region, sharing borders with the five other dioceses. Its capital, Arcadia, is home to the largest mine in the country; and its terrain, while flat, is rich with mineral deposits and precious stones. Before the revolution, this region (then called Cascadia) was mostly used for resource extraction, not just with its large mining population, but also along the stretch of the Voromir river that made up its northern border, where freshwater fishing was a hugely profitable venture. After the revolution, this region was controlled by Victoria Windsor's Sofiaraka, and it saw the heaviest fighting of the [[Transelman Civil War]]. After the war, it came under the control of the new Voromiraka government, who decided to scale back its size to make the newly created dioceses more equivalent. The mining revenue was also to be distributed amongst its population, as was done in the [[Church of Water]].
