![[portrait_Fayowa.jpg | 350]] *Official portrait of Fayowa, 663 AL.* ## Bio --- Yemisi Fayowa (22 Arami 612 AL ― 3 Paiventi 678 AL) was an Elman Royal Bishop, Transelman revolutionary, politician and political theorist who was the founder and the first leader of the [[Transelmany|Transelman People's Republic]] from 651 AL until her death in 678 AL; also serving as the first Saint of the Transelman [[Dioceses of Transelmany#Gravity|Church of Gravity]] in that capacity. She created the [[Voromiraka]], which led the [[History of Transelmany — Foundation & Protracted Rebellion (648-658 AL)|Protracted Rebellion]] that established the world's first [[Hagioism|socialist]] state. After the [[Transelman Civil War]] that followed, Fayowa's government successfully transformed South Elmany from a royal province into a one-party republic ruled by the [[Transelman Church of Saints]]. Ideologically a [[Hagioism|Hagioist]], her developments of his theories on monarchy, societal decay, the republic, worker democracy and protracted conflict are called [[Hagioism|Fayowaism]]. Fayowa was once a Bishop in the [[Royal Elman Church]]. Bitterly resentful of the rampant social inequality (based on arbitrary notions of weak and strong [[Flux]]) and economic precarity that characterized Elman society, she wrote a book called *[[Deadline]]* that called for a full-scale revolution in the country against the Crown. After a warrant was issued for her arrest by the King, she would spend the next seven years exiled in the South Elman countryside gathering support for her vision of Elmany as a people’s government that gave political power to the workers and peasants. ## Quick Facts --- | Born | 22 Arami 612 AL | | -------- | ------------------------------------------- | | - | Haal, [[Old Elmany\|Elmany]] | | Died | 3 Paiventi 678 AL (aged 66) | | - | Yemisiilu, Gravity Diocese, [[Transelmany]] | | Height | 5'7" (170 cm) | | Eyes | Dark Brown | | Hair | Dark Brown | | Flux | [[Flux\|Gravitation]] | | Alliance | [[Transelman Church of Saints]] | | Ideology | Orthodox Hagioism | ## Gallery --- ![[Saint_of_Saints.png | 400]] *Statue of Fayowa in front of the Transelman Finance Commissariat, Sylens.* ![[Fayowa_RECB_Fashion.png | 400]] *Fayowa character design by Paracelsus featuring Royal Elman Bishop uniform.* ![[Fayowa_VRMR_Fashion.png | 400]] *Fayowa character design by Paracelsus featuring [[Rebel Bishops|Rebel Bishop]] uniform.* ![[haal_treaty_rb.png | 400]] *Fayowa and [[Gordon Alastair]] during the Treaty of Haal signing in 658 AL.*
